FAQ
We are the industry leader in helping our mentees secure high-paying roles in finance and consulting. The regions we focus on are the US, UK, Canada, Hong Kong, and mainland China.
Since our inception, OSG has not and never will sell paid internships. Our only desire is to help our students reach their ambitions by continually and systematically through our teachings and classes, not through shortcuts. We are one of the rare organizations in the industry that never engages in non-compliant practices such as paid internships or referrals. It is not impossible for such shortcuts like paid internships to exist in top-tier global investment banks and consulting firms, which place a significant emphasis on talent development. We advise students and their parents to invest in genuine skills to navigate the competitive job market successfully. It is important to not buy in to easy shortcuts, since they will lead to negative consequences and impact future opportunities. This is also one of the most important factors you should consider when finding a mentor for career coaching.
We only count front office summer internship offers or front office full time offers. We also only include these offers if they are positions that come with the promise of full-time employment. We do not include off-cycle internships, PTA, and other non-conversion roles. It is worth noting that securing these formal offers is very challenging, yet our offer numbers and success rates continue to be the best in the industry. This shows the effectiveness of OSG’s career mentoring program.
A career mentoring program matches you, the mentee, with a seasoned professional, the mentor. This mentor offers guidance and support to help you in your career path.
Because they have work experience, they can offer insights into this field of work, help you develop your own skills, and even connect you with their network, all of which can be instrumental to your recruiting success.
Yes! Mentors can be a sounding board for your ideas and a trusted source of constructive feedback. Our mentors will share their own successes and failures, so that you can learn from them and avoid the same pitfalls. A mentor can be an instrumental jumping board for your career growth.
